Here’s your chance to shape how governments and enterprises engage with India’s startup ecosystem. We’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and detail-driven Manager – BD & Partnerships (Govt.) who thrives on hustle, structure, and high-impact work. This isn’t just another account management role—it’s your platform to own revenue-driving partnerships with central/state government departments like Meity, DPIIT, MoF, Invest India, International Government Agencies like NEDO, etc International & Indian trade bodies, and convert them into high-value engagements that influence policy, commerce, and innovation at scale.


You’ll lead the full cycle—from seeding opportunities and crafting winning pitches, to closing mandates, executing campaigns, and ensuring every stakeholder experience drives long-term trust. If you can blend the consulting discipline to navigate complex systems with the business development drive to close deals, this role positions you right at the intersection of sales, strategy, and ecosystem impact—where your work will help move markets and accelerate India’s innovation economy.

What You’ll Drive

1. Business Development & Growth

  • Build and close partnerships with central/state governments, embassies, and trade bodies.

  • Own proposals, pitches, and RFPs that secure mandates.

  • Full sales cycle ownership:

             - Need Seeding: Influence potential requirements.

             - Brief Development: Scope alignment with senior officials.

             - Proposal & Documentation: Draft technical + commercial bids.

             - Tender Participation: Handle eligibility, compliance, and submissions.

             - Execution Oversight: Ensure deliverables land on time.

             - Invoicing & Payment: Drive billing + collections.

  • Success will be measured by bids initiated, deals closed, stakeholder depth, and timeliness of execution.

2. Government & Cross-Border Partnerships

  • Act as the trusted POC for senior government officials, diplomats, and partner institutions.

  • Navigate compliance frameworks with consulting-level discipline while keeping business growth central.

  • Represent the startup ecosystem with embassies, trade councils, and foreign government agencies.

  • Build global collaborations that open doors for India’s startup ecosystem abroad.

3. Campaigns, Events & Research

  • Execute marquee summits, roundtables, and policy-aligned campaigns.

  • Spearhead research reports that position us as a thought leader for governments and trade bodies.

  • Align every initiative with partner expectations and tangible business outcomes.

4. Operational Ownership

  • Manage invoicing, reporting, and performance dashboards for government accounts.

  • Ensure smooth documentation, follow-ups, and stakeholder updates.


Professional Traits

  • 4–7 years in business consulting, advisory, or B2G/B2B sales.

  • Background in Big 4 firms, Invest India, trade/embassy advisory, or enterprise consulting is a big plus.

  • Proven track record in closing deals and managing senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and CXO engagement skills.

  • Strong with MS Office, Google Suite; CRMs/project tools a plus.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
