Job Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic, startup-savvy Founder’s Office Associate to drive strategic initiatives, streamline editorial operations, and act as a force multiplier for leadership. This role blends strategy, execution, and stakeholder management, offering direct exposure to high-impact projects.


The ideal candidate is a structured problem-solver with a founder's mindset – someone who can toggle seamlessly between big-picture strategy and granular execution while maintaining an obsessive focus on impact. You'll wear multiple hats, from leading special projects to optimizing editorial operations, with your work directly influencing company direction and growth.


Primary Responsibilities


1. Support Strategic Initiatives: 

  • Strategic Execution: Drive founder-led initiatives from ideation to impact measurement

  • Government & Institutional Partnerships: Support high-stakes outreach (investors, policymakers, partners), including proposal drafting and relationship management

  • Special Projects: Own ad-hoc strategic tasks (inventory management, gifting, logistics).

  • Surveys & Insights: Design and manage Inc42 surveys to founders, investors, timely followups and relationship-building

2. Event & Partnership Management
  • Event Execution: Support the events team various event components including scheduling, marketing coordination, and delegate outreach

  • External Outreach: Identify and secure partnerships (startups, universities, enablers).

  • Post-Event Analysis: Extract insights, document learnings, and optimize future events.

  • Delegate Management: Maintain databases, coordinate outreach, and monthly verification.

3. Executive Support:

  • Travel Management:

Coordinate all travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation for the founders

Manage travel itineraries, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely updates

  • Calendar Management:

Organise and maintain the executives' calendars, scheduling meetings, conferences, and appointments with internal and external stakeholders.

Prioritise and manage conflicting appointments, ensuring optimal time utilisation

  • Email Management:

Monitor and prioritise emails, responding on behalf of the executives when required.

Efficiently filter and redirect correspondence, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of queries


Professional Traits:

  • Individuals with over 1 - 4 years of experience, Bachelor's degree in English Honours, Journalism, management, business, or a related field preferred.

  • Excellent research and writing skills, with a strong command of the English language.

  • A genuine interest in the startup ecosystem, media, and the latest industry trends.

  • Outgoing and extroverted personality, able to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and presentation software.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
