Primary Responsibilities


A. Recruitment & Talent Development 

  • Develop and maintain recruitment, reporting, and audit systems to enhance recruitment processes, onboarding efficiency, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and craft detailed job descriptions, utilizing diverse recruitment platforms for broad job visibility.

  • Focus on sourcing, attracting, and engaging top-tier candidates, employing various channels to reach the top 1% talent pool and managing all stages of the recruitment cycle from profile screening to offer acceptance.

  • Be accountable for overseeing the monthly recruitment outcomes, ensuring timely hiring closures and seamless onboarding of all new hires.

  • Strengthen Inc42's vision and values during candidate interactions, showcasing our unique market position.

  • Implement and enhance onboarding and pre-boarding formalities, introduce company culture, and oversee regular review systems (15/45/75 and 30/60/90 days) for continuous employee engagement.

  • Enhance appraisal and promotion systems, establish regular feedback mechanisms, and conduct employee surveys to foster a positive work environment and continuous improvement.

  • Develop an Employee Value Proposition (EVP), lead employer branding campaigns, and facilitate mentorship and networking opportunities to nurture potential leaders and align them with company values and objectives.


B. HR Operations 

  • Analyze competitive pay structures, bonuses, and benefits from other organizations to design a remunerative system beneficial for both employees and the company, including payroll budget forecasting.

  • Manage and process company payroll, prepare leave, bonus, and incentive reports, and oversee the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure efficient data management and analytics.

  • Conduct data analytics to examine trends in employee performance, retention, and other crucial HR metrics, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and health and safety regulations.

  • Develop and update HR policies, provide policy training, and regularly review and adjust policies to comply with changing laws and regulations.

  • Oversee organizational structure design, including hierarchy, span of control, work processes, workflows, communication channels, and the establishment of clear incentives and performance metrics (KPIs and KRAs) alongside the team managers.

  • Address grievances and disciplinary issues, liaising with management to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.

  • Manage our compensation and benefits practices by analyzing annual benchmarking surveys, developing compensation models, and establishing salary bands. 


C. HR Analytics and Reporting: 

  • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and make data-driven decisions.

  • Drive governance on critical HR metrics such as retention, turnover and cost. 


D. Workplace Culture 

  • Design, implement, and monitor initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and motivation.

  • Organize monthly catch-ups, town halls, festival and milestone celebrations, team-building activities, and retreats.

  • In-depth knowledge of formulating competitive pay structures and managing payroll operations efficiently.

  • Competent in leveraging HRIS for insightful analytics and informed decision-making based on HR metrics.

  • Up-to-date with the latest HR policies, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and ethical practices.

  • Ability to spearhead cultural initiatives, drive engagement, and facilitate workshops that underscore company values.

  • Proven effectiveness in addressing and resolving workplace issues, fostering a supportive and inclusive culture.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring teamwork and synchronizing efforts across various departments.


Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, ideally from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution, with an outstanding academic record.

  • 5-8 years of experience in senior roles such as Sr. Recruitment Specialist or HR Manager or similar role particularly within fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

  • Demonstrable tech-savviness, including advanced proficiency in MS Office and database management, essential for modern HR operations.

  • Experience in recruiting for diverse roles within Product, Marketing, Tech, Design/Editorial sectors, especially in media or similar industries, is highly valued.

  • Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, with the ability to navigate its unique challenges and leverage its dynamic nature for talent acquisition.

  • Strong capability in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives, driving both organizational and employee growth.
