As a Content Marketing Manager Lead, you will own everything content for marketing of all Inc42 Courses. Our ideal candidate is a passionate & experienced content marketing professional preferably from a modern edtech or consumer startup.

Brand Management & Content Marketing
Maintain same brand voice, tonality and editorial stylesheet in every content marketing effort across Inc42 courses
Plan, execute & manage content marketing activities for various Inc42 Courses
Own week on week content marketing calendar for numerous channels like email, whatsapp, social media, Inc42 Website etc
Develop sharp briefs as well as formats that lead to unique creative formats that service our content and brand priorities
Lead video marketing for courses from peg identification, editing brief and creative packaging
Copywriting & Performance Measurement
Interpret briefs to develop and produce creative concepts and original copy for various digital mediums from scratch
Write email copy, product announcement, web copy, newsletter, ad copy, social media posts, and press releases
Understand email open rate, click rate, web page bounce rate, etc and implement learnings in creating new content strategies accordingly
Come up with creative copies and A/B test it
Write scripts and storyboarding for programmatic and shoot led videos for courses
Setup interactive dashboards and present to stakeholders at weekly/monthly frequency to showcase performance of content across different channels
Research
Understand the market gap and content requirements for various Inc42 courses
Conduct user interviews to understand what will make them click
Do exhaustive referencing to understand the creative gap to set the benchmarks too high
Reporting & Operations
Collaborate with sales team to identify new opportunities for marketing content
Collaborate with program management team understand the curriculum, market and audience better
Collaborate with creative and social media team to execute creative campaigns
What We Are Looking For
Education in Journalism, English, Communications, or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into effective copy
Experience with various social networks and platforms
Must have an understanding of customer segments
Should be good at A/B testing and experimenting with copy
Ability to write short, thematic, subtle & quirky content
Impeccable grammar and proofreading skills are a must
Ability to work independently, as well as with a team to meet deadlines
