Inc42 Media is seeking a Branded Content Specialist for Inc42 BrandLabs Team to curate native content for startup and enterprise clients and assist the team in meeting client deliverables. Through thoughtful and well-reported storytelling, Inc42 aims to maintain itself as a platform that produces data-backed news and analysis on all the vital elements at the intersection of technology, startups and business; to a niche target audience of the startup ecosystem.


  • The   person   is   accountable   for   delivering   sharp,   insight-driven   content   for   all BrandLabs campaigns, ensuring a high standard in quality. This would involve the ability to do primary and secondary research as well as building a fluid narrative with easy understanding for the readers.
  • The person needs to have an in-depth understanding of the Indian Startup ecosystem and help the BrandLabs clientele in building a content strategy based on their objectives.
  • Inc42 works closely with brands to tell their story through a mix of written articles, videos and events. The person will be responsible for creating content that matches the editorial standards at Inc42 in writing style, depth and research.
  • They’ll be assisting in ideation and conceptualisation for brands, story-writing and story production along with video scripting and interviews.
  • It is essential for the person to understand the concept of native content that is neither press-release, nor advertorial or as we call it creamy content. It must be neutral as a media house intends to be while being able to communicate the client’s message in the form of storytelling.
  • The person will be responsible for quality checks of the content for all the marketing deliveries of BrandLabs.  
    The person will also be required to coordinate between BrandLabs, Editorial and Design Team for cross functional projects.
  • The person will be required to assist with operations to ensure smooth team functioning. The role will also collaborate with other members of the DataLabs, Editorial & Design Teams.  
  • The role demands creativity and big ideas, energy, dynamism, and a positive attitude. They must be an excellent writer and editor, highly organised and detail oriented, with strong time management and collaboration capability.
